Safety at MILCON Construction

At MILCON Construction, LLC, our highest priority is the safety of our employees. We know that all operations involving operating equipment can be hazardous, if conducted without respect for the environment and regard for safety. We are committed to promoting a safety culture through training, awareness, and mutual responsibility for the wellbeing of fellow workers.

Employee Safety

All employees must complete a safety awareness and recognition program during their new employee orientation. All employees must complete an OSHA 10HR and 30HR Construction Safety Certification and be certified by the American Red Cross (or equal) in First AID and CPR.  MILCON also conducts a position hazard analysis for each and every employee.

Project Safety

Our safety program is guided by the US Army Safety and Health Requirements Manual EM-385-1-1, which includes an Accident Prevention Program and Activity Hazards Analysis for every project. MILCON also provides a Site Safety and Health Officer on every work site at all times to perform safety and occupational health management, surveillance, inspections, and safety enforcement.
